What a great book. I love a good crime story, especially one that gives the reader a real feel for the city in which it is set…in this case, Chicago. The author has also done a great job introducing us to an exciting new protagonist, Jack Fallon. Hopefully, we see more Fallon novels soon, as he is just an easy guy to root for.
It’s also not difficult to envision this character coming to life on the big screen, as well…would love to see a Jack Fallon movie/series someday, as the city of Chicago would offer an abundance of storylines and serve as the perfect backdrop to showcase this exciting new character.
Highly recommend this new novel, and look forward to the next one!

This is a quick read due to the exciting and fast-paced plot line. It’s tough to put down once you get going. Having never been to Chicago myself, I felt like I was able to transport myself there by the great descriptions of the setting. I’m looking forward to the next!
